We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Cromwell Vets. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading by example, and contributing to the overall success of our practice.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong passion for veterinary medicine, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality patient care and treatment
- Leading and mentoring the veterinary team to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes
- Developing and implementing clinical protocols and procedures
- Collaborating with the Clinical Director to achieve practice goals and objectives
- Participating in continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest veterinary advancements

Cromwell Vets is a busy 24-hour first opinion small animal hospital with 5 branch surgeries and a state-of-the-art rehabilitation centre. Our practice has been caring for pets for over 100 years and we pride ourselves on providing the very best contextualised care and service for our pets and their owners.
