Job DescriptionWe're seeking a highly skilled Systems Safety Engineer to join our high-velocity culture. As a champion of safety and innovation, you'll work collaboratively with our team to create solutions and solve complex problems. If you're eager to take ownership and challenge the status quo, we want you to be part of our Clean Sky Thinking.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Systems Safety Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Conducting qualitative and quantitative safety analysis at system and aircraft level to ARP4761 standards
- Generating safety requirements for system and sub-system design teams and ensuring compliance
- Creating reasoned safety arguments for complex and novel systems and communicating these to stakeholders
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Aeronautical degree or equivalent experience in the aerospace industry
- At least 5 years of practical experience in a similar role
- Strong working knowledge of aircraft safety assessment following ARP4761 standards
- Awareness of commercial aerospace certification regulations
- Good working knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and ALARP justifications
