About the Role

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team in the Audiology department. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for assessing the hearing of adults and children, performing otoscopic examinations, and selecting appropriate hearing aids.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments using a range of diagnostic tests, including Pure Tone Audiometry, Acoustic Admittance Measurements, and Speech Audiometry.
• Perform otoscopic examinations to assess the condition of the external ear and eardrum.
• Select and fit hearing aids, considering individual patient needs and outcomes.
• Obtain aural impressions for ear moulds or custom-made earplugs.

Person Specification

We are looking for an Audiologist who meets the following criteria:

• Experience of working in the NHS.
• BSc or equivalent in Audiology (or graduating in September).
