Job Summary:

MCG Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Emergency Contact Practitioner to join their dynamic team. As a key member of the practice, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with the leadership and practice teams to achieve the practice's vision and objectives. You will be working with a team of experienced healthcare professionals, serving a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing emergency care for patients and managing patients with complex needs
  • Developing and implementing clinical governance and risk assessment/management processes
  • Participating in audit programs and research studies to improve patient outcomes
  • Contributing to service development initiatives and improving patient care
  • Working autonomously in an independent and advanced nursing role

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
  • Independent Prescribing Qualification or working towards
  • Experience in emergency care and management of complex patients
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge base
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
