The Nottinghamshire Football Association is on the lookout for an Independent Chair to spearhead the Inclusion Advisory Group (IAG). This pivotal role will report directly to the Chair of the Board of Directors.
The ideal candidate will possess a fervent passion for football and substantial experience in the following critical areas:
- Knowledge of Legislation: A solid understanding of key laws concerning inclusion and diversity.
- Engagement with Diverse Communities: Experience working with varied groups and individuals from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
- Advocacy for Inclusion: A proven track record in promoting inclusion and diversity within a group setting.
- Effective Leadership: Skills in chairing committees and groups effectively.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Constructive Debate: The capability to engage in discussions and challenge ideas in a constructive manner.
- Trend Identification: Ability to recognize key trends and issues that can enhance the game through inclusion and diversity initiatives.
- Networking Skills: Successful in connecting with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic skills to guide the group’s direction.
The successful candidate will be expected to lead IAG meetings on a quarterly basis, collaborating closely with the Nottinghamshire FA Executive and staff, and attending Board Meetings as necessary.
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Chair who is eager to advance the areas outlined above.
