Position Overview:

We are in search of a passionate and committed Primary Stage 2 Educator to join a lively primary institution in Northampton on a long-term basis. The ideal candidate will be tasked with fostering an engaging and supportive educational atmosphere that encourages both the academic and personal growth of students in Key Stage 2.

Main Duties:

  • Design and implement captivating lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2.
  • Evaluate and track student progress, offering constructive feedback and assistance to ensure each child achieves their potential.
  • Establish a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel appreciated and inspired.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and guardians to enhance student learning and welfare.
  • Keep precise records of student progress and accomplishments.
  • Engage in school events, meetings, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching Key Stage 2.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to motivate and engage young learners.
  • Dedication to creating a positive and inclusive educational setting.
  • A proactive stance towards professional growth and ongoing improvement.
