Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support the Research for Equitable Access and Learning (REAL) Centre at the University of Cambridge. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Centre and its Director, ensuring the smooth operation of research projects, events, and outreach initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate research projects, including data management, reporting, and budgeting
- Plan and execute events, including hybrid events, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders
- Provide administrative support to the Director, including preparing reports, maintaining records, and coordinating travel arrangements
- Develop and maintain relationships with Centre partners and funders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Support the development of research outputs, including copy-editing and proofreading
Requirements
- Education to degree level (or equivalent) and proven experience in project management and administration
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- Experience with standard software packages and ability to learn new systems quickly
