We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Learning Disability Nurse to join our team at Burton Park, a 50-bedded neurobehavioural locked rehabilitation hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement holistic care plans in partnership with individuals, prioritising their needs and goals.
- Manage medication and ensure adherence to hospital policies, promoting a safe and supportive environment.
- Lead and support the nursing team, providing regular supervision and ensuring annual appraisals are completed.
- Assist in the recruitment and induction of new staff, ensuring a smooth transition into the team.
- Contribute to the promotion of basic living skills and patient-centred care, fostering a positive and supportive team culture.
- Completion of preregistration/Preceptorship.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on patient-centred care.
- Ability to be self-motivated and flexible, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
