Recruit4staff is proud to be representing a leading Building Services Company in their search for a Commercial Gas Engineer to work across various commercial and industrial client sites in the Yorkshire area.


For the successful Commercial Gas Engineer, our client is offering:

The Role - Commercial Gas Engineer

  • Working on various commercial and industrial projects, including fault finding, service, maintenance, and breakdown work on commercial and industrial heating and ventilation plant
  • Planned and reactive maintenance of heating and ventilation systems
  • Working on a variety of equipment, including boilers, burners, radiant heaters, air handling units, and other related systems
  • Attending emergency call-outs and providing prompt service
  • Some requirements for project/installation work, including new installations and upgrades

What our client is looking for in a Commercial Gas Engineer:

  • Current and in-date ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, CDGA1, etc.)
  • A full driving license
  • Previous experience in a similar service and maintenance role
  • Proven fault finding and breakdown experience
  • City and Guilds F-Gas certification or City and Guilds 18th Edition certification
  • NVQ or City and Guilds in Plumbing
