About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a SEND school in Alnwick. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with pupils with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, and other complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting pupils with SEND in a small group setting
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Providing individualized support to pupils with varying needs
  • Collaborating with the teaching team to develop and implement personalized learning plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience working with primary or secondary school-aged children
  • Experience working with pupils with SEND
  • A passion for supporting the progress of SEND pupils
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
