About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join our team in Southampton. As a key member of our audit and accounts team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, delivering comprehensive audit and accounts services, and leading audits from planning through to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering comprehensive audit and accounts services
  • Lead audits from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with audit standards
  • Prepare statutory and management accounts for a diverse range of clients, including limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
  • Review and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for their audit and accounting needs
  • Support partners and senior management with special projects and business advisory work

Candidate Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified, or part-qualified, with substantial experience in audit and accounts
  • Strong technical expertise in audit and financial reporting, with experience leading audit engagements
  • Excellent communication and client management skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships
  • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
  • A team player who can mentor junior staff and contribute to the success of the audit and accounts team
  • Ambitious and career-driven, with a desire to grow within a forward-thinking firm
