Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our Water Infrastructure and Climate Adaptation Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative and high-quality design solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and design complex projects, ensuring compliance with design, construction, engineering, building codes, and government standards.
- Analyze and interpret various data sources, including survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, and aerial photographs, to inform project planning and design.
- Prepare and present reports, analysis, and design calculations to stakeholders, including design team members, project managers, and clients.
- Participate in quality review processes and ensure the delivery of high-quality work products to the lead engineer or project manager.
- Train and mentor early career employees, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
- Coordinate work on multiple projects to maintain project objectives and deliver results within set timelines.
- Develop a basic understanding of Ramboll's Project Model and financial reporting system.
- Contribute to the growth and success of Ramboll by delivering high-quality work products to clients and promoting the company's values and mission.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering and 2+ years of qualifying engineering experience in the engineering/design field.
- Basic knowledge of engineering fundamentals and Microsoft Office products.
