Job Summary

Pilgrim's Shared Services is seeking a highly experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our legal team, you will provide expert legal advice to our business leaders and support the development of our commercial strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality legal advice to support the business in achieving its objectives.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate complex commercial agreements with customers and suppliers.
  • Assist business teams in carrying out legal, regulatory, and contractual aspects of their responsibilities.
  • Provide legal guidance on compliance matters, including marketing, advertising, and brand licence terms.
  • Manage and interface with external legal counsel as required.
  • Work with internal business partners on proactive legal training.
  • Perform other tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • UK Qualified Solicitor or Barrister.
  • Circa 8 years post-qualification experience.
  • High-calibre experience in a fast-paced, in-house legal team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and relate to clients at all levels of the business.
  • Flexibility to respond to rapidly emerging challenges and risks.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full driving licence.
