About the Role:

About the Facility: This rehabilitation hospital is situated in a community-centric approach to care. The facility caters to women with a primary diagnosis of mental illness and personality disorder, often with complex needs. The hospital has a well-established relationship with NHS partners, ensuring smooth patient transitions from the facility back into the community with robust follow-up support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Patient Care: Serve as the Responsible Clinician for the facility, supervising the referral and admission process and conducting pre-admission assessments.
- Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement comprehensive care plans that support patient recovery.
- Shape the Future: Contribute to the ongoing development of the service and play a key role in training and mentoring other healthcare professionals.

- Qualifications: Full registration with the GMC and inclusion on the specialist register for Psychiatry.
- Experience: Proven experience at Consultant level in inpatient settings, ideally with exposure to working with individuals who have complex mental health needs and forensic histories.
