Position Overview:

We are seeking qualified and experienced HGV Class 1 Night Transport Operators for ongoing assignments. This role involves working Monday to Friday with a start time of 30pm.

Compensation:

£50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute night trunking operations, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
- Safely drive a heavy goods vehicle to deliver goods and materials to specified locations.

Primary Duties:
  • Load and unload cargo using the appropriate equipment.
  • Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance.
  • Maintain precise records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
  • Communicate with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate logistics.

Qualifications:
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
  • Clean driving history with no significant violations.
  • Demonstrated experience as a truck driver or in a similar capacity.
  • Ability to operate and maintain various types of trucks and trailers.
