About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Engineer to join our team at London Gatwick Airport. As a Field Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of complex projects across the airport, working closely with internal teams and contractors to ensure project completion and involvement in the end-to-end process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver regular site safety engagement on responsible projects, ensuring an emphasis on and compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards and promoting a positive HSE culture
  • Review contractor CDM and quality and commissioning submittals for quality and compliance
  • Inspect work within to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
  • Coordinate with electrical and mechanical engineering colleagues to ensure all works are installed to plan
Requirements
  • Served as a Field Engineer, Site Engineer, NEC Supervisor, or Clerk of Works in the construction or civil engineering sectors, managing multi-year projects valued at up to £10 million
  • Skilled in project handover and closeout processes
  • Proficient in identifying and resolving HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) issues related to construction
  • Well-versed in quality management principles and practices
