We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to join our client, a leading B-Corp drink business, in an interim capacity. As the Interim Finance Director, you will play a critical role in leading the financial operations of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Manage the Finance Team: Provide guidance, support, and development to ensure high performance.
- Develop and Implement Financial Strategies: Align with the company's long-term goals and sustainability objectives.
- Oversee Budgeting and Financial Forecasting: Ensure accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Prepare Financial Reports: Ensure timely and accurate financial reports for the Board of Directors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage Cash Flow: Ensure the company's financial stability.
- Identify and Mitigate Financial Risks: Develop strategies to mitigate financial risks.
- Communicate Financial Performance: Work closely with senior management, investors, and external stakeholders to communicate financial performance and strategy.
- Improve Financial Processes: Continuously improve financial processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Proven Experience: Proven experience in a senior finance role within the drinks industry or a similar sector is essential.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a finance team effectively.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
- Availability: Must be available to start immediately and hit the ground running.
