Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Service Desk Analyst to assist in managing our cloud-based work environment, including SaaS applications and SMART Metering support.

Our infrastructure relies on Google Workplaces for user management, communication, and data storage. Our approach is agile and responsive, allowing us to meet the dynamic needs of our users.

As a Service Desk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in addressing user inquiries, managing incident tickets, and providing expert guidance through our support portal. You will also coordinate with other service providers to ensure comprehensive support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver first-line technical support to colleagues.
  • Facilitate ticket management between technical teams and external partners.
  • Handle ticket escalations as necessary.
  • Process service requests efficiently.
  • Generate reports on incidents and service requests.
  • Oversee asset management activities.
  • Collaborate with software vendors and service providers.
  • Maintain and update the knowledge base.
  • Provide general assistance via collaboration tools.

  • A minimum of 3 years in enterprise-level IT support.
  • Familiarity with E.ON SMART Metering systems.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Experience in hardware troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in user account management.
  • Knowledge of email systems.
  • Experience with various operating systems including Windows, ChromeOS, and MacOS.
  • Familiarity with mobile operating systems such as Android and iOS.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Service Desk + and Atlassian tools.
  • Knowledge of process documentation and modeling.
  • Experience in project rollouts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication.
  • Understanding of APIs.
