About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Team Leader to join our team at The Cooperative Group. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting our Customer Team Members to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Customer Team Members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist the Store Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the store, including stock management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement.
  • Provide coaching and training to Customer Team Members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other store teams to achieve business objectives and improve store performance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail leadership role, with a strong track record of delivering sales growth and improving customer service.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the business.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.
