About the Role

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant to join their team. As a key member of the company, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on geotechnical and environmental matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Geotechnical Assessments: Conduct thorough geotechnical assessments, including site investigations, risk assessments, and remediation designs.
  • Environmental Services: Provide expert advice on environmental matters, including contaminated land assessments and ground gas assessments.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present high-quality reports, including factual and interpretative reporting.
Requirements
  • Education: BSc in Geology, Ground Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. MSc is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience: Proven track record of experience working in a similar consultancy or contracting practice, with expertise in project managing site investigations and land quality assessments.
  • Skills: Excellent site work skills, including trial pitting and drilling. Strong communication and project management skills.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 per annum.
  • Flexible Working Hours: 7:30 - 9:30 start time, based on a 37.5 hour week.
