About the Role:
We are a leading training provider to the Water Utilities sector, seeking an experienced English and Maths Functional Skills Tutor to join our team. As a key member of our instructional staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality learning experiences to our learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver courses of learning for learners, ensuring alignment with awarding body and JCQ guidelines.
- Develop and implement effective teaching plans and learning materials for classroom and 1:1 coaching sessions.
- Conduct assessments, providing constructive feedback to learners.
- Undertake formal reviews with learners, completing coaching and assessment records.
- Provide subject specialist information, advice, and support to learners and colleagues.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Extensive experience in teaching English and Maths Functional Skills.
- Strong subject matter expertise and knowledge of awarding body guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
