We are seeking a highly organized and physically fit individual to join our team as a Warehouse Operative / Brewery Assistant. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and be part of a dynamic team that produces a wide range of beers.
Key Responsibilities- Order Fulfillment: Ensure all national orders are shipped on time by picking, packing, and dispatching orders accurately.
- Order Preparation: Present orders to carriers in a presentable and logical manner.
- Inventory Management: Ensure ordered items are accurately picked, based on quantity and quality requirements.
- Labeling and Dispatch: Label orders ready for dispatch via our carrier network partners.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Perform general warehouse and housekeeping duties to maintain a smooth operation.
- Stock Rotation: Rotate floor stock to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Stock Takes and Record Keeping: Conduct stock takes and maintain accurate records.
- Lifting and Moving: Lift casks and kegs up to 50kg (with full training provided).
- Delivery and Transportation: Deliver products in our company van (with full training provided) and hold a valid UK full driving license.
- Brewery Support: Assist with cleaning and filling vessels within the brewery.
- Experience: Warehouse or ecommerce picking/packing experience is desirable, but full training will be provided.
- Interest in Craft Beer: An interest in real ale/craft beer is desirable.
- Physical Fitness: Physical fitness is an absolute must.
- Driving License: A UK full driving license is essential.
- Organizational Skills: High levels of energy and enthusiasm, but able to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail.
- Time Management: Good time management skills.
- Communication: Good communication skills.
- Working Hours: Monday-Friday (5 days a week), 8 hours a day with 30 minutes for lunch.
- Salary: £24,100 per annum.
- Beer Allowance: Beer shared out amongst the team every month.
- Discount: 35% discount on product list prices.
