About GRAHAM:
As GRAHAM continues to expand, we are in search of a skilled and motivated MEP Project Manager to oversee significant projects in the Glasgow area. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to foster strong relationships with trade contractors and colleagues involved in the project.
Key Responsibilities:
The MEP Project Manager will be tasked with the following:
- Ensuring Health & Safety compliance for MEP works and managing associated subcontractors.
- Completing daily and weekly documentation related to Health & Safety and progress tracking.
- Supervising site MEP teams and ensuring their responsibilities are met.
- Collaborating with the construction Project Manager and planner to maintain an accurate project schedule.
- Coordinating with other project managers to ensure timely and sequential project progress.
- Reviewing MEP subcontractor progress reports to monitor task completion.
- Addressing technical issues with Building Services Managers.
- Providing progress updates on MEP installations for client reporting.
- Monitoring subcontractor resources and material availability for upcoming tasks.
- Organizing meetings with subcontractors and stakeholders to align on project goals.
- Leading a team of MEP supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other involved parties.
- Working alongside the commercial team to oversee MEP payment applications throughout the project lifecycle.
This job description is designed to provide an overview of the MEP Project Manager role and the associated responsibilities. It does not encompass every task, and specific objectives will be discussed with the successful candidate at regular intervals.
Technical Qualifications:
Essential:
- Background in Mechanical or Electrical Services within the industrial and commercial installation sectors.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Mechanical or Electrical Construction/Project Manager, with experience on projects exceeding £5 million in M&E.
- HNC/HND qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or Construction Management.
- Practical experience from a trade contractor perspective.
