PR & Partnerships Manager

Location: Flexible working arrangements available with a minimum of two days in the office.

Contract: Permanent Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Reporting to: Digital Marketing Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary focus will be to enhance the visibility of the brand, uphold a positive brand image, and secure effective media representation. Responsibilities include:

  • Formulating a detailed PR and partnership strategy in collaboration with the Senior Marketing Manager, supported by a PR agency for execution.
  • Overseeing the PR agency and managing associated expenditures.
  • Boosting brand visibility through positive media coverage at both local and national levels.
  • Creating, managing, and approving diverse content such as press releases, newsletters, blogs, and thought leadership articles.
  • Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key media outlets, brand partners, and stakeholders within the travel and tourism sector.
  • Coordinating media engagement initiatives including press trips, media inquiries, and interviews.
  • Conducting research and outreach to identify brand partners that align with the partnership strategy and commercial goals.
  • Managing existing partnerships to implement activation plans that align with strategic objectives.
  • Developing a framework for measuring outcomes and monitoring return on investment (ROI).
  • Collaborating with the broader marketing team and other departments to transform customer experiences into compelling narratives.
  • Preparing design briefs for all PR and partnership materials with assistance from the Marketing Services Executive.
  • Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to provide insights during marketing and product team discussions.
  • Working alongside the Senior Marketing Manager to oversee the PR agency budget and evaluate ROI from partnerships.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, with expenses covered.

Candidate Profile:

We seek individuals with the following essential qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a PR role, whether in an agency or in-house.
  • Experience in managing a PR agency or working within one.
  • A relevant degree in English, Media, Journalism, or Communications is preferred.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with media, senior stakeholders, and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated project management experience.
  • A collaborative spirit, capable of thriving under pressure and communicating effectively in both verbal and written forms.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience within the travel, tourism, or hospitality sectors is advantageous.
