Wilson Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Commercial Vehicle Technician to join our team in Peterborough. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our commercial vehicles and trailers meet the highest standards of maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles and trailers to DVSA standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Provide vehicle assistance at roadside breakdowns and on-site customer premises.
  • Ensure vehicles are handled carefully, following health and safety procedures.
  • Liaise with the parts department to source necessary parts.
  • Complete job cards and service sheets accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Stay up to date with relevant product knowledge and attend training as required.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Technical qualification: City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ qualified technician.
  • Strong communication skills and a problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Awareness of health and safety standards.
  • Desired but not essential: HGV licence, Forklift licence, or experience with Scania products.
