**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Transport Operations Coordinator to join our team at Meridian Business Support. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for arranging the deliveries of customers' products on time and in full, using the most effective means possible and the best use of available resources while complying with transport legislation and health & safety.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Manage drivers to ensure start times are adhered to
* Communicate all changes made to the rest of the team
* Plan daily work ensuring nothing gets missed
* Fully understand and work to agreed KPIs for the department
* Ensure profitability of both owned and sub-contracted vehicles
* Manage drivers with their loads to ensure it meets safety standards
* Comply with all transport legislation, reducing tacho-graph infringement to below the company targets
