About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team at Forseven. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the durability and structural integrity of our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to guide design and achieve component and assembly targets for mass, stiffness, and durability.
  • Build full vehicle FE models and subsystems, derive load cases, set up and execute analyses, and post-process results to generate design recommendations.
  • Coordinate and participate in analysis and test activities to evaluate vehicles, investigate root causes, and develop solutions to achieve program requirements.
  • Conduct hand calculations to support initial design concepts and analyze test data to correlate with CAE results.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of fundamental durability theory and its application to achieve program goals.
  • Good working knowledge of whole vehicle design and vehicle subsystems.
  • Ability to solve durability problems using CAE toolsets.
  • Demonstrable experience using FEA techniques to predict stiffness, strength, and fatigue of structures.
  • Proficiency in using Optistruct, Abaqus, nCode, Hypermesh, ANSA, or equivalent software.
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external clients.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively.
  • Quick learner with good time management skills.
