We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Technician to join our Process Department team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for manufacturing Sensititre plates, ensuring accurate production and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacture Sensititre plates by dosing, checking, and packing plates on a dispensing pump line.
- Support and back up for Process Department supervisor to ensure production of product outlined on the production schedule.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and accurately complete all production batch records.
- Ensure a safe working environment within the packing room and dispensing room by following Health and Safety guidelines.
- Perform reconciliation of batch numbers, assembly, bagging, and boxing of Dosehead accessory, and manufacture of ID seals.
- Contribute to general cleaning duties in dispensing and packing room areas.
- Computer literacy and ability to accurately record data.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, train, and support others.
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and Health and Safety guidelines.
- Basic math and English skills, with a focus on accurate record keeping.
- Physical ability to lift and carry moderate weights, with good eyesight and manual dexterity.
This role operates on a 2-week rotating daytime only shift pattern, including one weekend in two, with an average of 38 hours per week. The operating hours are 0730-1800, with a shift pattern of W1 – M, Tu, F, Sa, Su; W2 – W, Th.
