Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at a purpose-built dementia care home in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents and contributing to the overall success of our care home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive and run the unit alongside clinical duties, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Responsible for making sure policies and standards meet our high clinical standards and providing clinical guidance to the care team.
  • Forge strong relationships with residents and their families, providing kindness, support, and care.
  • Take responsibility for the well-being of residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Coach and guide the team, providing formal and informal teaching programs for colleagues and other care professionals.
  • Carry out assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for each resident.
  • Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies, and legislation.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Ability to lead a team of care staff.
  • Passionate about delivering great care and supporting residents and their families.
  • A team player who engages well with others.
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Awareness and understanding of the CI/CQQ/RQIA National Care Standards.
  • Demonstrate an understanding and application of relevant legislation in relation to the role.
  • Able to deliver nursing care in a clinical environment.
