Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Subsea Systems Engineer to join our team at oilandgas. As a Principal Subsea Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful development of subsea systems, from early concept phases to installation and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Subsea Field Developments: You will lead discussions on subsea field developments, identifying flow requirements and defining subsea systems from Christmas Tree to delivery point, including controls definitions and requirements.
  • Review and Provide Comments: You will review and provide comments and recommendations for Subsea Controls, Instrumentation and Equipment & Systems Documents and drawings prepared for specific projects, at any required phase.
  • Evaluate Solutions: You will assess the feasibility and evaluate solutions to enable operation of the asset from topsides/FPSO/Plant/Terminal, interfacing with discipline engineers, control systems, process safety, and project requirements.
  • Perform Assessments: You will perform assessments of modifications required and tie-ins to initial infrastructure, including MEG and chemical distribution, operational remediation works and requirements, & subsea control system.
  • Provide Input: You will provide input to deliverables including, Overall Technical Reports, Basis of Design and Scopes of Work.
  • Attend Workshops: You will attend Project workshops and design/construction reviews and initiate and drive HAZOP and constructability/installability requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience: Excellent understanding of subsea engineering, subsea hardware, and the production system.
  • Skills: Excellent people's skills interacting with engineers of different seniority, technical capability, and cultural background, proactive to get the work done, a team player with a can-do attitude.
