Registered Manager for Children's Home - Huddersfield
Position Overview:

  • Seeking a qualified Registered Manager for a newly established, single-bed children's residence.
  • Opportunity to transition to dual-registration across two similar facilities within 6-12 months.
  • Part of a reputable organization specializing in children's residential care.
  • Located in Huddersfield, with plans for additional homes in the vicinity.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Responsible Individual (RI) to launch a new single-bed children's home.
  • Recruit, train, and lead a dedicated staff team.
  • Oversee daily operations within the children's home environment.
  • Ensure effective therapeutic support is provided to children exhibiting emotional and behavioral difficulties.
  • Manage incoming referrals and address safeguarding issues.
  • Guarantee compliance with the home's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).


Compensation:

  • £40,000 for managing one home.
  • £60,000 upon dual registration.


Employment Terms:

  • Full-time, permanent position.
  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday.
  • On-call responsibilities included.


Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management, or actively pursuing.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People.
  • Experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager.
  • Valid driving license required.
