Senior User Researcher

We are seeking an experienced Senior User Researcher to join our team at Qualserv Consulting. As a Senior User Researcher, you will play a key role in informing the creation and iteration of our products and services through user-centred design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit participants for user research and schedule research activities across multiple or complex products and services.
  • Plan and lead user research activities to provide insights that inform product development.
  • Conduct user research to identify user needs and preferences.
  • Lead the analysis and synthesis of user research findings using a range of methodologies and techniques.
  • Present findings and user insights to senior stakeholders, teams, and users to inform decision-making.
  • Support Product Managers with insights to prioritise UX resources efficiently.
  • Build user-centred practices in multidisciplinary agile teams.
  • Supervise and develop other user researchers to assure and improve research practice.
  • Align user research activities with business needs to inform service propositions.
  • Recommend the best tools and approaches to understand user needs.
  • Be an active member of the UX practice to help embed and grow a user-centred culture across the organisation.
  • Mentor other UX colleagues who have an interest in user research.
  • Support the UX Lead in helping to drive a user-focused culture.

Requirements:

  • SC cleared
  • Experience in user research and analysis
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What We Offer:

  • A competitive rate of £575 per day inside IR35 via an umbrella company
  • A tenure of 6 months, extendable
  • A hybrid working arrangement with at least one month based in Devon
