Specialist Children's Health Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist Nurse to join our Children Looked After and Care Leavers Team. As a Specialist Nurse, you will play a vital role in improving the physical and emotional health of children and young people in care, from birth to 25 years old.
Main Responsibilities:- To conduct high-quality health assessments for children and young people in care, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- To work collaboratively with multi-agency teams, professionals, and carers to deliver high-quality care and promote stable placements.
- To identify and support the health needs of children and young people in care, including those with complex and sensitive issues.

Requirements:- Registered General Nurse
- Community Specialist Practitioner (SCPHN)
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Masters
- Previous work with vulnerable children/young people
- Previous work with separated migrant children
- Mental Health
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Able to use initiative and take responsibility
- Demonstrate ability to implement innovations in practice
- Hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010)
