About the Role:

Castlefield Recruitment is currently working with a Public Sector Organisation in the North-East to recruit a Procurement Specialist to join the team on a permanent basis.

A background in Public Sector procurement is essential for this role.

The position offers a hybrid working policy, with the requirement to attend the office 2 days per week, with 3 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all procurement and contract management activity is undertaken in accordance with agreed corporate procurement processes.
  • Manage a selection of individual projects, within a variety of categories.
  • Reporting directly to the Category Manager.
