Fixed Term Contract/Secondment
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Lead to be appointed on a fixed term secondment to provide operational management and strategic leadership across Learning Disability Services in NHS National Services Scotland.
The post holder will be a key member of the Learning Disability Team, working closely with the General Manager and Associate Nurse Director to drive forward significant service improvements and professional performance. You should be a Registered Nurse with current registration on Parts 3 or 5 / RMN or RNLD of the UK NMC Register.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational management and support professional nursing leadership across Learning Disability Services.
- Work closely with Lead Clinicians, other Mental Health Services, and Staffside Partnership representatives to advise on review and support service improvements and ways of working.
- Collaborate with service users, carers, health professionals, social work, voluntary sector staff, and local higher education providers to drive forward service improvements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives, ensuring high standards of clinical practice, quality standards of person-centred, safe, and effective care.
