About the Role:
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of Care Assistants, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standards of care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Care Assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of exceptional care.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
- Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through a range of social and recreational activities.
- Administer medication and maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
