Meetings & Events Operations Assistant Role
We are seeking a Meetings & Events Operations Assistant to join our team. As a Meetings & Events Operations Assistant, you will be the final piece of the puzzle, ensuring that all aspects of the guest conference and banqueting service are smooth and seamless.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the smooth running of the banquets department, ensuring that all aspects of the guest conference and banqueting service are delivered to the highest standard.
- Work as part of a team that maximizes guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries.
- Take responsibility for the duties and tasks assigned to the role, ensuring that all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner.
- Deliver on departmental plans and objectives, ensuring that hotel initiatives and targets are achieved.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that costs and inventory are controlled, productivity and performance levels are attained, and the company culture and values are promoted.
- Ensure adherence to all legislation and best practice activities, performing follow-up as required.
Requirements
- Experience in banquets is beneficial but not essential.
- A hands-on approach with a can-do work style.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry.
- The ability to find creative solutions and take ownership of duties and tasks assigned.
- Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence.
- Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms.
- Strong communication skills.
