About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing Top 100 firm based in Hertfordshire as a Contentious Trust and Probate Solicitor.

The firm boasts a very successful contentious probate team spanning their several offices, with a strong reputation for dealing with high net worth (HNW) and ultra-high net worth (UHNW) private client work, coupled with a strong bench of litigators across the board.

They are ranked highly in the Legal 500 for their work in the Contested Probate space and have a fantastic client base offering their fee-earners a broad diet of work, including charities, HNW individuals, banks, corporations, and more.

In this role, you will be managing your own caseload with support from the wider team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of contentious probate matters
  • Working closely with the wider team to deliver excellent client service
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in the law and best practices

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of post-qualification experience (although more junior candidates will be considered)
  • High attention to detail, commercial awareness, and legal acumen
  • Confidence and interpersonal skills when engaging with clients
  • Passion for what you do, welcoming ongoing career development opportunities and continuous accreditation and academics, being fully supported
