We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our Data Science & Analytics Centre of Excellence (CoE) at Oxera Consulting LLP.

About the Role:

As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering complex and high-impact projects that help clients improve operational efficiency, benchmark performance, and meet regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects focused on performance benchmarking, productivity analysis, and efficiency assessments for clients across a range of sectors.
  • Develop and apply economic models and methodologies to identify operational improvements and set performance targets.
  • Provide expert advice and evidence on performance and efficiency issues in regulatory contexts.
  • Collaborate with academic and technical experts to ensure that our methodologies are grounded in the latest research and best practices.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure that project outcomes are aligned with their needs and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in economics, data science, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in performance benchmarking, productivity analysis, and/or efficiency modelling, ideally within a consultancy or regulatory environment.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and the role of benchmarking and efficiency analysis in both regulated and competitive markets.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality economic reports and evidence to competition authorities, regulators, or courts.
  • Experience in project management, with the ability to lead and deliver multiple projects on time and within budget.
