Job Title: Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 2

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an apprentice to complete their Level 2 Childcare qualification with KingsWood Day Nursery in Alderholt.

About the Role:

As a Childcare Apprentice, you will be working alongside qualified and experienced childcare professionals in a fantastic setting. Your duties will include:

  • Organising and engaging in different activities and encouraging children to participate.
  • Participating in forest walks and outdoor activities.
  • Preparing and serving meals and aiding the children at meal times.
  • Supporting nursery staff with various duties throughout the day.
  • Ensuring the nursery is kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Providing a safe and enriching environment for the children.
  • Keeping up to date with coursework and qualifications.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to gain a clear DBS and have GCSE's A*-C in English Language and Maths, or equivalent. You will also need to be able to have flexible transport for altering weekly shift patterns.

Qualities Required:

We are looking for a confident, outgoing and enthusiastic individual who enjoys the outdoors and is a great team player with good communication skills.

Working Hours:

The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed.
