Manufacturing Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join our Paintshop team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for assisting site management in operational technical cleaning activities, including labor and resource management, plant and equipment operation and maintenance, Health & Safety, Quality audits, and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the management of all operational cleaning activities to provide timely delivery of services to a standard that exceeds customer requirements.
- Manage operational resources for efficient working, both as teams and as individuals, supporting capacity and resource planning activities where appropriate.
- Actively assist the Paint Shop Manager and other Site Contract Managers by maintaining robust and close supervision of the team.
- Investigate employees for misconduct, gross misconduct, and other behavioral issues, as well as breaches of Health & Safety regulations.
- Deliver scheduled cleaning activities on time and ensure that cleaning operations are undertaken in a safe manner.
- Support the provision of input to KPI reportage on a timely basis.
- Ensure that cleaning operations are undertaken in a safe manner, with a focus on risk assessments, method statements, and staff training.
- Maintain a working knowledge of Company HR processes and ensure their correct implementation.
- Identify training requirements for staff and assist in the procurement of training and development.
- Establish and maintain a clear understanding of customer quality standards and operate audit processes to ensure customer and company expectations are met.
- Knowledge in Health & Safety management systems.
- Certified Lead Quality Auditor for 1st and 2nd parties.
- Understanding and application of problem-solving techniques (8D or similar).
- Full Clean driving License.
- Handling customer complaints and queries face-to-face.
- Managing in an industrial cleaning environment.
