Estimator or Senior Estimator Opportunity

We are working with a Main Contractor who is seeking an experienced Estimator or Senior Estimator to join their team in Essex.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately preparing the financial element of bids and producing estimates on appropriate schemes to the right net cost in a timely manner. This will involve working on Residential, Commercial, Education, Leisure, and Industrial Projects from £1m up to £30m.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and submitting bids and estimates for construction projects
  • Collaborating with the estimating team to develop and implement estimating processes
  • Providing commercial awareness and a strong understanding of the construction process
  • Creating and following clearly set-out processes
  • Methodical, analytical, and organized with an attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Personable and effective team player
Requirements
  • Experience working for a UK Main Contractor
  • New Build/Refurbishment experience
  • Ambition to progress in their career
