Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Private Client Solicitor to join our client's busy and expanding private client department in Chelmsford. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of Private Client Matters, including Wills, Trusts, Estates, Tax planning, Deputyship and LPA's, IHT matters.

About the Role

  • Manage a caseload of Private Client Matters, including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, court of protection, Probate and the Administration of Estates and Trusts.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Work on your own initiative and have excellent organisation skills for a fast-paced workload.
  • Be an excellent listener with a sympathetic ear and comfortable getting involved in the marketing and networking of the Private Client Department.

Our client is a long-established law firm with an excellent reputation throughout Essex. They offer a friendly working atmosphere, pension scheme, office parking, and 5 weeks' annual leave. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their career and work in a dynamic and expanding department.

Requirements

  • 2 years + PQE Solicitor or Legal Executive (candidates with relevant experience outside of this bracket will be considered).
  • Experience dealing with a broad caseload of Private Client matters.
  • Excellent organisation skills for a fast-paced workload.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and develop strong client relationships.
