Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at GET STAFFED ONLINE RECRUITMENT LIMITED. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient running of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring they are properly labelled and staged for shipment
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
  • Take responsibility for the efficient running of the warehouse for Goods In, Goods Out, Returns, and Stock Control, while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment
  • Support on other tasks as required, including vehicle maintenance, cleaning/servicing equipment, and stock take

Requirements

  • Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution center environment
  • Physical fitness to meet the demands of a warehouse role
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to speak confidently and comfortably with customers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to take ownership and work on your own initiative
  • Computer literacy and ability to follow instructions and strict processes
  • Desirable: ability to operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts, with training provided
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety guidelines

  • Competitive salary of £22,000 - £24,000 per annum, dependent on experience
