About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at Oxford Quantum Circuits. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and deploying innovative software solutions that enable seamless access to our cutting-edge quantum computing technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality software solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create and improve software solutions for accessing our quantum computers.
  • Respond to technical and business-led requirements to ensure a great end-user experience.
  • Foster a culture of technical excellence and growth by taking ownership of your development goals and staying informed about technological advances and industry trends.
Requirements
  • Experience in commercial full-stack/web app development in Python.
  • Strong understanding of common data structures and programming methods.
  • Creative mindset for developing solutions to unique and challenging problems.
  • Technically versatile and able to learn new skills that can be applied across multiple types of work.
  • Experience with containerized microservices and deployment in global environments.
  • Experience building REST services.
  • Experience with modern cloud infrastructure such as Kubernetes and Azure/AWS.
Desired Skills
  • Full-stack experience or readiness to learn and adapt to various technologies.
  • Experience in developing web apps/webservices using other high-level languages.
  • Extensive working knowledge of one or more of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
  • Expertise in Flask web framework and Flask-security.
  • Experience in message broker and data streaming tools.
  • Expertise in SQL, including knowledge in PL/SQL.
