About the Role

The Business Intake Coordinator will play a critical role in the Firm's business intake process, ensuring seamless and efficient onboarding of new clients and matters. This position will be responsible for reviewing, modifying, and processing all new client, new matter, revision, and conflicts searches using the Firm's automated business intake system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process all new client and matter requests, ensuring compliance with Firmwide policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with the Business Intake and Conflicts team to organize and facilitate large litigation and restructuring-related requests for searching and analysis.
  • Interface with attorneys, secretaries, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate processing of intake requests.
  • Monitor and update the Department's internal and external facing sharepoint spaces, including Excel lists and supportive documents.
  • Direct unidentifiable materials and calls to the appropriate positions or department, demonstrating high levels of professionalism and sensitivity.
  • Assist with indexing Firmwide client retention agreements and recommend technology and process improvements.
  • Serve as technical liaison, monitor end-user errors, and intake technical problems.
  • Participate in training and orientation sessions as subject matter expert for new and existing employees.

Requirements

This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proven related experience processing business intake and supporting a functional area's initiatives is preferred. A flexible schedule and overtime is required.
