The Role: Bid Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bid Manager to join our team in Doncaster. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire bid lifecycle, acting as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders involved.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of winning bids across a diverse range of rail projects.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to ensure comprehensive and compelling proposals.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand customer needs and competitive landscape.
- Develop persuasive bid documents that clearly articulate our value proposition and address specific client requirements.
- Manage the bid process effectively, adhering to deadlines and budgets while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in managing complex bids and proposals within the rail or infrastructure sector.
- Strong understanding of bid processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present compelling arguments to clients.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- A collaborative and results-oriented approach with a strong work ethic.
