Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Financial Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for individuals who are AAT qualified or possess substantial experience as a QBE Bookkeeper, particularly in the preparation of management accounts.

About the Role:
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a reputable organization, focusing on a variety of financial tasks. The successful candidate will report directly to the Finance Director and will be responsible for:
  • Comprehensive bookkeeping for a specific business unit.
  • Managing all invoice payments and reconciling supplier statements.
  • Handling all accounts receivable responsibilities, including conducting credit assessments, billing, and debt recovery.
  • Executing journal entries and preparing month-end management accounts up to trial balance.
  • Performing bank reconciliations.
  • Overseeing expense management.

Candidate Requirements:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
  • Demonstrated experience in an accounting capacity, preferably within a multinational environment.
  • A solid grasp of accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong communication abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • The capability to meet stringent deadlines while managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Ideally, candidates will be AAT Qualified or have extensive relevant experience to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
