About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at a fantastic charitable organisation. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and attention to residents, following individual care plans and ensuring all contact is polite, friendly, warm, and supportive.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support residents with their medication, meal times, and other daily routines.
  • Contribute to a relaxed and informal community within our homes, promoting a sense of belonging and well-being among residents.

Requirements:

  • NVQ 2 Adult Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
