About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our team at Atlas Recruitment Group Ltd. As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, building, integrating, and providing through-life support to submarine platforms in the Royal Naval fleet.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security baselines, mitigations, and controls to ensure the security and resilience of submarine systems and products.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage risks following industry standards such as NIST and ISO 27001.
- Apply industry-recognised security certifications like CCP, CISSP, or CISM, or obtain them as required.
- Collaborate with the MOD to ensure compliance with policies and regulations like SPF, JSP 440, and JSP 604.
- Produce RMADS and address security challenges related to operational technologies and control systems.
What We Offer:
As a Cyber Security Consultant with our client, you will earn a basic salary of up to £60,000 and enjoy a range of company benefits.
Requirements:
- A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant STEM field or information security.
- Industry-recognised security certifications like CCP, CISSP, or CISM, or the ability to obtain them.
- Solid experience in risk assessment and management following industry standards such as NIST and ISO 27001.
- Extensive experience in applying security baselines, mitigations, and controls.
- Background in Product Security, particularly in the defence, maritime, or related sectors.
- Familiarity with MOD policies and regulations like SPF, JSP 440, and JSP 604, along with experience in producing RMADS.
- Understanding of the security challenges related to operational technologies and control systems and how to address them.
